What contact information does my program need to provide for the GME Alumni Survey?

What contact fields does my program need to provide to launch an GME Alumni Survey? What demographic information does my program need to provide for the MBA Alumni Survey?

The contact information (we call this 'sample') required to launch a GME Alumni Survey is a little more detailed than that required for our Entry, Midterm, or Exit surveys. We require the additional "Graduation Year" field so we can segment the responses from each class.

We also recommend that you provide any other demographic information that you may have to help analyze the survey results. We will append these additional fields in the sample (contact list) to the survey data for final analysis. Typically, schools will provide gender and age so that we have two fewer questions to ask in the survey. Please note that these additional fields must have values for ALL contacts (alumni) to be utilized for analysis — records without values would cause the append analysis to be inaccurate.

Here is a list of fields that we typically request to launch an MBA Alumni Study:

FirstName
LastName
EmailAddress
GradYear
Gender (optional)
Age (optional)
Please list other demographics that are available

In addition to these fields above, we commonly receive an institution-ID field that would allow us to append additional information to the survey data should it become available after we have started fielding an alumni survey. For example, you may want to parse the survey data by levels of past financial donations to the school and/or university.

Percept Research is committed to maintaining the privacy and security of personal information. We hold all data received from our clients in the strictest confidence that data will only be used for the contracted study.

Personal information provided to Percept Research is confidential and is combined with information gathered from other survey participants. Additionally, these data are reported in aggregate form. In some cases, survey responses may be tied to other customer information that is provided by the client sponsoring the survey, and used for segmentation or analytical model building, but in no case will responses be used for individual marketing efforts, and no action will be taken toward an individual respondent simply because of his or her participation in the survey unless the survey participant gives express opt-in permission (for testimonial or improvement follow up).
