I feel like we have responded to these emails requesting to close a number of times, but we are still receiving them. Is there a way to stop them?
End of Survey Confirmation Reminder
You are referring to our automated reminder system asking you to confirm that your survey has ended fielding. We need your approval to close the MBA Lifecycle survey before we can get started with tabulation and analysis. We do this because many programs will chose to extend the survey past the ‘announced’ end of fielding to boost response with deadlines. Here is a reference blog article about this response optimization approach: Boost MBA Survey Response Rates: Round up Stragglers with Extensions
In the past, many clients would forget to alert us and then ask why their Topline Summary has not yet been delivered. To be pro-active, we created this mechanism to automatically ask if you wish to close the survey 10 days after the scheduled survey end date has passed.
Why am I getting another confirmation request when I already confirmed once?
This will occur if you have uploaded multiple batches of student email addresses into your portal. Programs may upload separate batches for multiple cohorts or for address corrections, typically. Here is a reference article: What if my program has more than more one cohort in a fielding year?
The End of Survey Confirmation Reminder is based on the scheduled survey end date for each batch. Thus, if you have uploaded four batches, you will receive four Confirmation Reminders to close each batch. This ensures that we have your approval to proceed with the analysis for each set of students that you have uploaded into your portal.
What does the End of Survey Confirmation Reminder look like?
Your reminder message will look similar to this...

To confirm that your survey is officially closed, you must click this link: Confirm Survey Closed
Please note that we will not close this survey until you have confirmed it has closed by clicking this link. The survey must be closed before we can begin tabulating your data to produce your Topline Summary.
Do you wish to extend the survey and contact students who have not yet completed the survey directly?
If your response rate is below 80%, we recommend sending an End of Survey extension message 1-2 days after your initial deadline to announce a one-week extension to prompt response. Please reference this blog article for more information about this approach: Boost MBA Survey Response Rates: Round up Stragglers with Extensions
We have provided a template End of Survey extension message that you can customize to encourage non-responding students to complete the survey here: http://embaportal.perceptresearch.com...
We have also included the unique student survey links below should you want to contact these students directly to encourage further participation. Each student receives a unique link for tracking completion.
The following is a list of the students who have not yet completed the survey:
