Did I register my program correctly as a part-time MBA program for the GME Student Exit survey?

I chose “Part-time/Online”, but that’s not a completely accurate description. We run our program more like an Executive MBA program but with a slightly younger student demographic.

You did register correctly. The program you described is a part-time program since the students also work full-time jobs while receiving instruction.

The GME Lifecycle Survey Suite currently offers questionnaire templates based on 4 types of program formats and student types:

1. Full-time (FMBA) - The programs are provided to full-time students (i.e., they do not work during the program and focus solely on academic instruction).

2. Part-time/Online (PMBA) - These programs are provided to working professionals and are typically delivered in the evening or on weekends, after normal working hours.

3. Executive MBA (EMBA) - These programs are provided to meet the educational needs of managers and executives, allowing students to earn an MBA in two years or less while working full-time.

4. Specialized Masters (SpecMS) - These are graduate-level programs in management with coursework that is typically isolated to that particular area of study (such as accounting, supply chain, finance, marketing, etc.). Graduates typically earn a Master in Science (MSc) or Master of Arts (MA) degree, not a Master of Business Administration (MBA).
