How do I update my EMBAC Research password?
In March 2019, the EMBAC Research Portal access transitioned from a single school-wide password to individual user-specific passwords. Since then, Microsoft has retired the email features required to support individual password messaging within the portal’s .NET infrastructure. Because of this—and other .NET display limitations—Percept Research is developing a new portal system.
What you can access today
While the new portal is being built, the current EMBAC portals remain available only for accessing your school’s Report Archive. Access to the Membership Program Survey and GME Lifecycle Surveys is now handled directly via email rather than through the portal.
About your password
Your previous user-specific password will still work, but it will only display the programs assigned to that specific username. To ensure full visibility into your school’s Report Archive, we recommend switching back to your school-specific password to access the EMBAC Research Portal.
School-wide login format
The school-specific usernames follow a DIRXXX format:
https://embaportal.perceptresearch.com
Username: DIRXXX
Password: XXXXXXXX
