What is the difference between the Member Region and Directory Region in the EMBAC Membership Program Survey?
Yes, the purpose and usage of the two regions are different:
A3. DIRECTORY REGION - Please list the geographic region where your program is delivered. This region is utilized in the EMBA Council’s directory search tools to locate programs for prospective students as well as for grouping survey results for reporting. If a program takes place in several countries, there will be an opportunity to list the joint program location in Section B.
A3B. MEMBER REGION – Please list the geographic region where your program office is located. This region is used by the EMBA Council to group programs for regional meetings as well as for grouping survey results for reporting.
Europe + Middle East + Africa
Midwest US + Middle Canada
Northeast US + Eastern Canada
Western US + Western Canada
The Directory Region is used to locate your program via the EMBA Council online directory so prospective students can search for programs by geography.
The Member Region is used to categorize your program within the EMBA Council membership directory for inclusion in the regional meetings each year. This is why the regional choices are different between the two questions.
