What can we do to prevent our survey invitations from being blocked?
My organization uses rate control systems and spam filters that intercept and block mass email messages from outside organizations.
To ensure the successful distribution of your survey invitations, it’s crucial to collaborate with your IT department. Spam filters are designed to reduce junk email by scanning for certain trigger words in the subject line and message body, such as “win,” “prizes,” “last chance,” “drawing,” or excessive use of exclamation marks. These elements can activate the filters and hinder your message delivery.
We advise you to perform a preliminary test of your messages through your spam filter prior to launching your survey. Be aware that rate control filters may restrict messages from a single IP address if a set threshold is surpassed.
Inform your IT department about the upcoming survey and the origin of the invitation emails, which will be sent from perceptresearch.com and noreply@qemailserver.com. It’s essential to add these addresses to your safe sender list to avoid interference from rate control systems or spam filters. Your IT team might also be able to release any emails from these addresses that have been quarantined.
Furthermore, it may be necessary to adjust the threshold of the rate control systems to accommodate the volume of survey traffic.
Once you have coordinated with your IT department to include our domain in your allowlist, please reach out to Percept Research. We will then send a test email to verify that everything is set up correctly.
