Why do I have to "confirm" my data for the EMBAC Program Survey?

What is meant by survey confirmation for the Membership Program Survey?

This process allows multiple staff to complete the survey with one staff member responsible for confirming the data are accurate. For reporting purposes, we need your confirmation that the current information stored in the survey is correct.
A dialog box will appear within the survey asking for your confirmation once you have completed all required questions in ALL sections.
In past years, this confirmation dialog box would appear on the home page of your Research Portal. Starting in 2023, this confirmation appears at the end of each program-specific survey. The last page of the survey will allow you to leave the survey and return to the survey (using the same program-specific survey link) to 'confirm later.' All of the survey data submitted will be retained.
